NONETHE VIGNATIS

Fabreze and Tracy Vignati have created a new style of music, Gypsybilly, which blends English and French vocals with gypsy orchestration including acoustic guitar, clarinet, accordion and violin, swingin’ drivin’ rockin’ drum beats with modern/vintage instrumentation of electric guitar and upright slap bass as used in Rock-a-billy In addition, the Southern twang of honky tonk-esque piano and pedal steel season the overall sound.

They just released their new CD, "Birth of the Gypsybilly™”, the first album of its kind available at CD Baby and iTunes.  Brilliant hearts and minds contributed to its birth including Bernie Dresel on drums, who has worked with international singers and musicians such as, Brian Setzer, Ray Charles, Christina Aguilera, B.B.King, Gordon Goodwin’s Big Phat Band; John “Spazz” Hatton on King Doublebass, who played with Brian Setzer, Bob Dylan, Dolly Parton, Elvis Presley, Carmen Mc Rae; and Grammy Award winner Charlie Bisharat on violin who can be heard on Rod Stewart, Elton John, Rascal Flatts, Sheryl Crow and Strunz & Farah recordings.  The album also features the sleek pedal steel playing of Chris Allen Burke and the sensitive accordion touch of Gigi Lynn Rabe, the mixing expertise of two-time Grammy Award winner Anton Pushansky (Santana, Ozomatli), the engineering greatness of Frank Rosato (Robben Ford, Steve Lukather, Sheryl Crow), and David Williams of Melrose Mastering for the final touch.

Previously Fabreze and Tracy had a band that played hot jazz swing in the style of Django Reinhardt in clubs around the greater LA area.  It was a natural precursor for them to progress to their creation of gypsybilly music.

Tracy Vignati coached Cat Cohen on his vocals for his CD Songs Of Survival And Sweet Surrender.
