NONEBOBBY Z

Bob is  a rock, blues, country, and soul styled guitarist and vocalist who played gigs and recording sessions throughout California full-time before changing his focus to working with computers and software in 1994.
He learned guitar when he was in high school in Los Angeles, and soon joined a number of bluegrass and old time string bands. They performed around town and at the Ashgrove in LA, a seminal club where traditional artists were given an opportunity to reach a new audience.

After moving to Berkeley, California he started playing in rock and blues bands and became a founding member and songwriter in Motor, Deacon and the Suprelles, The Buzzards, The Windy City, and many other bands.  When he met his wife to be (Desda), they sang together and performed for many years in clubs and at private events around the San Francisco Bay Area. They performed as Higher Ground, Aura, The Honeymooners, Desda & Bobby Z, and Big Fun.

While living in Pacifica, they organized and led two community chorus groups; The Mussel Quarantine Choir and the Coastal Harmony Vocal Band. They wrote the 'unofficial' city song of Pacifica, which is used in the Pacifica Fog Festival to this day. He also performed with Cruisin', and with singer/songwriter (and great friend) Rocky Sullivan. Earlier Zuckerman also performed with the 1960's folk group The Serendipity Singers.

Currently, he supports businesses to maintain a high level of ease and integrity in their Accounting and related data, and enables them to use that information to make better decisions for the future.

He specializes in Sage Pro and MAS 500 ERP products with experience in e-commerce, distribution, manufacturing, sales and service.

As part of the WAC Consulting Group, he brings expertise in warehousing, CRM, payroll, fixed asset management, job cost and integration of all aspects of a modern business technology environment.

At this time, his business, Zuckerman Consulting, is a partner in the WAC Consulting Group, a national organization of business consultants leveraging expertise over a wide range of business solutions and industries.

Despite putting his abundant participation in musical talents on the backburner, Zuckerman’s life long passion for playing and performing music continues unabated.  And when it comes to hot licks and powerfully emotionally driven guitar playing and soulful vocals, Bob has few equals.

Cat Cohen and Zuckerman go back over 35 years when Cat’s sister introduced them to each other as fellow musicians.  Besides being lifelong friends, Bob played guitar in Cat’s musical “Lightflow” at Venice Free Theater. He also played on several recording sessions for Cat including most of the guitar work on Cat’s album of original songs about restaurants and cafes, Songs In Short Order, recorded at Bob Wayne’s Sunburst Recording studio in Culver City.
